Mental Health Community Outreach Workshop Provider
Wellness Matters: A Series
Mental health workshop series targeted towards Asian American undergraduate student population at University of Florida. Consisted of three parts with varying event structures aimed at educating students on mental health, self-care and coping strategies, and help-seeking behaviors and community building skills.
Cultural Mental Health Awareness Event Organizer
Alight: Wellness Lantern Festival
Programmed engaging cultural event meant to highlight and address mental health in the Asian American student community at the University of Florida. Event consisted of various activities facilitated by community resources (e.g. university departments, student organizations, local resources, etc.). Students were also able to share personal mental health struggles to strengthen sense of community.
Keynote Speaker and Workshop Facilitator
Self-Care and Wellness Workshop
Guest keynote speaker for regional sorority conference. Hosted workshop centered on various self-care practices meant to engage audience and encourage them to reflect on their mental health. Activities included creating self-care plans, practicing mindful coloring, engaging in self-care jeopardy, etc. Ended workshop with mindfulness meditation.
Digital Mental Health Campaign Coordinator
Explore Your Wellness Instagram Challenge
Developed and implemented University of Florida Counseling and Wellness Center's first social media campaign aimed at increasing student engagement and encouraging community discussion on mental health and wellness. Collaborated with digital team to create a cohesive visual brand and incentives for the campaign.
