Background & Research Work
Havi Tran is currently a Ph.D. student at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She received her Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees in Mental Health Counseling at University of Florida in December 2019, along with a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies. Additionally, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at University of Florida in May 2017. Her field of focus has always been in mental health, and she's currently pursuing further education in the field through her doctorate.

Currently, Havi is studying Industrial-Organizational Psychology, where she focuses on understanding underlying psychological components and dynamics within the workplace. These can include personnel selection, worker efficiency, employee satisfaction, and more. Her research focuses on diversity in the workplace and how aspects like an employee's culture and identity may affect their mental health. This research combines both her clinical experience from her M.Ed. Mental Health program and her current Ph.D. I-O Psychology program.
